The Top Ender Magazine

Visit The Top Ender for the latest edition.

The Top Ender is a free Defence magazine produced bi-monthly by three paid staff and a group of volunteers - our Top Ender committee. We are a non-profit organisation, partially funded by the Family Support Funding Program, administered by the Defence Community Organisation (DCO).

We have a distribution of approximately 3500 to Defence families, members, units, libraries and schools in Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine and surrounding areas. The printed publication is received directly by Defence families, at their home, for the duration of their posting in the Northern Territory. It is received in the first week of the two month period that it covers.

The main aim of our publication is to inform Defence families of events in the Defence community and local events, to provide contact information for community groups and commercial businesses, to offer information regarding Darwin and the NT and supporting businesses and to provide entertainment, foster community spirit and alleviate isolation. We also call on our readers to join us for 'stuffing day' where we come together over morning tea and organise our printed magazines for distribution - a wonderful community experience!
